Printable View

Occasionally I like printing a forum post for reference or because I want to try it out or something. There are many times though, when the right hand part of the post is cut off. So much so at times that its completely unreadable.
Would it be possible to add a link to give the ability to display a post in a 'Printable View'?
Thanks, John G. |

John - good request. What I end up doing a lot of times is I highlight the posts and put them in a Word document. This way I am able to search through the documents in my "Things to Try" folder as well as making sure the information is printable.

Good thought. I've taken a similar approach by saving the web pages in a local folder. You still run into the printing issue but as long as I have some original reference I'm happy.

That is a great idea. So probably for both forum posts and articles. I am working on a new version of the site, it's a lot of work so it is still a bit out, but it does have printable views and also you can save posts in your favorites to review later as well. Like I said, it's a little ways off, so I'll look into creating a printable view of the page(s).

OK, I made a quick change. Now when you print the page the navbar on the left will no longer show. Does that look better? |

Ryan,
Looks great when the nav bar is not there! Thanks. Looking forward to the next release.
