Hello,

Does anyone know of way to disable CTRL+INS copying on the Account, Contact, and Opportunity ListViews? I believe that I can assign CTRL + INS as a shortcut to a menu item, but that will disable that coping functionality for everything and I only want to disable it for the list views where mass amounts of data can be copied.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Off the top of my head I would say no as the groups are mostly hard coded. You can for instance disable exporting to Excel by modifying the script it calls to create the Excel document (I forget what it's called exactly but it has Excel in the name). That still doesn't stop you from exporting to a tab or comma delimited file or copy/paste single records which is an obvious issue for anyone not wanting this data to be exported.

What version are you in Rob?

You can possibly get at a lot of this stuff through the Groups 'Common 'scripts and \ or Global Scripts (which are actually event handlers).

I can trap an F5, Ctrl-F5, F8, etc......

we just modified the Group's Export to Excel script to be compatible with MS Excel 2010.
