Lookups to Lookup Group

Ok, so I'm trying to create a lookup button/label, similar to the ones on the Account Detail form. But these lookups are very generalized so I want to create lookup groups based on the lookup. I'm sure this is easily done but I'm drawing a blank on this, as I've yet to create this before. Any pointers? I'm not looking for code, just a shove in the right direction.
Thanks Marc |

After some research and testing I've focused what I'm trying to do, with no functional results thus far.
I'm trying to create a lookup button, on a form, similar to those on the Account Detail form, with the FUNCTION lookup, which gives the ability to check a box to create a group based on the query.
Is this even possible? |

There are two different ways. If you are using custom main view and want a standard quickfind lookup button you have to create a lookup in lookup manager and apply it at main view quickfind lookup in architect. If you want to set a button on a form and find results behalf on it using script - you have to use ShowRecordsforId fucntion. |
