Hi All,
Hopefully a quick easy one. Whats the wildcard character in saleslogix/vb script? Im looking at something like:
If 'variable' = "string%" then
'do this'
else
'do this'
end if

there is no wildcard character. take a look mid() or left(). be careful with case sensitivity as well, i would recommend using strcomp and specifying the comparison type.

We use INSTR to do a text comparison....i.e. a LIKE search.

To clarify, It is not SLX VB Script. SalesLogix utilizes MS VB Script. The legacy scripts are Cypress Enabled VB.
As per the Developers reference, for VB issues you should check your preferred VB Script reference guide or the Microsoft MSDN Web site.
