I need some advice on this:

I've ported a new db field, a picklist (with values) and a new copy of Opportunity over to my Production server.

When I'm logged in as the admin, the field has the ... box and lets me choose a value.

HOWEVER, when I'm logged in as a user, the field has no ... box and I can't even type into it!

Has anybody run into this problem? I'm at a loss!
