Moving Contacts

Hi,
I've wrote a process that will move a contact to another account (a dump account effectively), leave the history on the old account and move the activity with the contact to the new account (similar to the move contact function where you can choose to keep the history on the old account etc). The process works fine, the problem comes with synchronization. We have a remote office that I'm testing on and the activity/history seems to have moved but the contact remains on the original account. The account I'm moving the contact to by the way is only avaliable (via seccode) on the host database, not the remote office and I'm thinking this may be the issue?
