Dashboard not viewing
Posted: 17 Jun 10 11:12 AM

We have a client in SLX v7.0, and they have decided to start using the Dashboard. It was previously disabled by a past administrator. We have enabled and released all the components such as the Menu, NavBar, Forms and Text files.
When logged in as "admin" the dashboard shows fine. However, when any user clicks the Dashboard icon, the MainView/Form area says "No Records to display".
What are we missing? Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Look to see if there is a table with one record in it and a group on it The LAN used to tie mainviews to a table, even reports, had a dummy record out there and then they hid the rest (groups, middle pane ... Check the Eval db for it |

Thanks Lane. I looked at the Dashboard Mainview, and don't see anything out of the ordinary. I looked in the Sales Dashboard table and there is one row with Admin. There really isn't any fields in that table.
I hid all the panes except fro the DetailsView and I still get the same result. The Details view has the activities grids which I know have records.
Regarding the Group pane, I have set it Invisible, but not having used the Dashboard really, I am not sure what grouping would be attached to it anyway.
Any other thoughts?
Thanks for your help. |
