Getting value from defined datagrid row
Posted: 03 Aug 10 9:35 AM
How can I get value from defined row and column in datagrid without selecting this row?
I want something like this Grid1.Row(10).Column("column name").value . But I have not found any suitable property.

Well......if you know the Rows keyfieldID value......like the AccountID
The
Dim RS
Dim RecCount
Set RS = gridname.recordset
RecCount = RS.RecordCount
IF RecCount > 0 Then ' you have at least 1 record in the grid.
rs.Filter = "keyfieldID = '" & the row ID & "' "
RecCount = RS.RecordCount
IF RecCount = 1 Then ' this is the record you were searching for.
MyField = rs.Fields(ith column).Value
End IF
End If
