Yes, you can hide most of it.
You would need to start by modifying the NavBar and Toolbar Items, then from all Main Views remove the Grids that refer to this modules (e.g. Activity Tab, Contact Tab, Opportunity Tab).
Also, from the Global Join Manager, hide the Joins to these tables.

There may be a few other things to hide, but these are a few of the items to get started with.
