open a browser when clicking the button in nav bar
Posted: 19 Aug 10 8:38 AM
Hi All,
I am trying to open a browser seperately when clicking a button in nav bar.
Right now i am calling the iexplorer.exe on clicking the nav button and i am setting the link as home page in ie 7.
Is there something i can call a script to open a browser seperately and so that in the script i can give the link to open in the browser.
Thanks,
Ajoy

could add a managed form with a browser control on it. You can then set all the properties of the browser control including the link.

Yes, discard what you have done:
strURL = "http://www.empath-e.com"
Application.BasicFunctions.WebOpen strURL
or, it returns a boolean so:
If Application.BasicFunctions.WebOpen (strURL) Then msgbox "success"
Regards
Mike
