SecCodeJoins table empty on remotes
Posted: 08 Sep 10 10:37 AM
We have a customization that uses the SecCodeJoins table but it appears this table is blank on the remotes. How then are remotes able to determine security based on the team hierarchies? Is this handled server-side during the sync process and it simply removes any accounts a user doesn't have access to? Thanks!

That would be correct....Sync Process doesn't send out non Team\department accounts....and sends out Accounts when the Owner is changed and it matches a Subscription rule and Team Security
what version of SLX?

I needed to use SecRights instead of SecCodeJoins and UserSecurity.
I found this queries that RJ Ledger posted before. Thanks, RJ!
--List all users and their Departments or Teams
SELECT u.UserName, s.SecCodeDesc as Dept, sp.ProfileDescription
FROM sysdba.UserInfo u
INNER JOIN sysdba.SecRights sr ON sr.AccessID = u.UserID
INNER JOIN sysdba.SecProfile sp ON sp.ProfileID = sr.ProfileID
INNER JOIN sysdba.SecCode S ON s.SecCodeID = sr.SecCodeID
WHERE s.SecCodeType = 'D'
ORDER BY u.UserName, Dept
--Create a List of Users and their Teams
SELECT c.SecCodeDesc, UserName, UserID
FROM sysdba.SecCode c
INNER JOIN sysdba.SecRights r ON c.SecCodeID = r.SecCodeID
INNER JOIN sysdba.UserInfo u ON r.AccessID = u.UserID
WHERE C.SecCodeType = 'G'
ORDER BY c.SecCodeDesc, UserName
