Hi.

I think that should be access problem by the role or the user.

If i assaing the sql path to the table contact any field, it runs without problems if i assaing the path to my new table, newtable -> program it display these message.

I have been looking for the way to give access to the user about the new field, but i have found nothing.

Thanks

Have you tried using the SLX Profiler to see if it shows any problems with the Query being generated after the field is added?

What if you create a new Contact Tab and on it just add one Control and bind it to this field, does it also fails?

What type of Control (and what property) are you trying to bind the field to?

i added a combobox, i fill it using an function that i created.

I have already run the profiler and there is no error.

The message shows when i log in and start to charge the form contact details.

The function checks if the contact have a program, if the contact does not has a program it shows empty.

When i log in as admin works, when i log in as my normal users, shows the message error. I changed the  sql path for the combo to another field, i used a colum in contact table and i released the changed, i run again as my user and it works.

Looks like that the new columns need to be charged on SLX or SLX does not find the column for some reason.

I add the column using the database administrator from the arquitect.

Thanks

Hi everyone.

I just solved.

I deleted the field and create it again with other name and i linked the combobox item property to the new field and works fine.

Thanks for your help.
