fiogf49gjkf0d Done via Architect or SalesClient. Look at demo database for examples. Tools | Manage | Sales Process (SLXClient) or Manage | Sales Processes (Architect) - both are the same. |

fiogf49gjkf0d Sales Processes are managed in Architect from the "Manage" menu. Sales Processes are not just stages, each stage can contain steps that can optionally be required to be completed before the next step or stage of the sales process begins. You can also automate the close percentage as well each time a stage is completed.
Each step can perform an action like schedule a phone call, to-do, literature request or even a custom action.
Before attempting to implement a Sales Process be sure to model it first and go through all the various scenarios that need to be addressed. Even before doing this read the documentation and create sales processes in a development environment. This will help you understand how the stages, steps and the various actions in a step work.

fiogf49gjkf0d You do this on the Architect (Manage/Sales Process).
In there you can define as many Stages as you need and as many steps within your Stages, as well as other details about the Sales Process. |

fiogf49gjkf0d Ok - I see. Well, I don't see. In client it is not there. In Architect it's there but grey'd out. Not the right Architect license? |

fiogf49gjkf0d Are you logging in as Admin to Architect? |

fiogf49gjkf0d If you are a UK customer (perhaps, US don't know) - you need the Advanced license to be able to do this (or Premier). SP's only available in that version. |

fiogf49gjkf0d Sounds like the appropriate license is not in place. |

Hi Mike!
Sales Processes are Plugins within SalesLogix. As such, they are created in the Architect and applied to specific Opportunities. They are essentially templates, and you can create as many as you need accommodate the way you sell, or the way your customers prefer to engage you.
Does this help?
