Well, this is another trouble I'm facing. SOme of the users are not able to search and find Users using the Quick Find, while I'm able to view those accounts. What possibly can cause this?

Does the user groups have control this?

Use the SLX Profiler and check the Actual Query being executed and then troubleshoot why those users don't have access to the data.

Things to look for:

- Security: The users may not belong to the Team(s) that own the data that they can't see.

- Inner Joins (this could be the case if the problem is always happening for some records, regardless of the users). E.g. Missing Address (since the address table is most of the times Joined via an INNER Join).

That brings my next doubt.. So Teams can own the data in SLX and make it invisible for others? Where is the setting for this?

By definition, teams are stored on the SECCODE table in SalesLogix.

For every user created, there is a matching "Owner" record created in the SECCODE table. So, even if you use "Users" as owners, you can also define who has access to their data via the Administrator (this is done within each user's profile view).

Each Contact, Account or Opportunity record has an associated Owner, and only those users that have access to that Owner (members of the Team) will have access to the Data.
