In my company, SLX users are running SalesLogix 6.2.6 on Windows XP.

We are planing to move from XP to Win7, so we are testing SalesLogix 6.2.6 on Windows 7 within the Windows XP Mode. But when trying to attach a file the following message appear.

"Unable to save file to specified attachment directory.

[\\gyematcrm01\RemOffice Sync Logs\Documents\]. Contact your system administrator for asistance"

What could It be happening?

Paty,

No version of v6.x will work with Win7 (or Win2008/r2) - you do need to upgrade to at least v7.5.2. Windows XP Mode is not a "mode" as such - it's simply a full version of Windows XP running in a virtualised environment. Therefore, the issue is that the environment cannot get to this share. Check firewalls, normal permissions etc. Remember that the machine is not part of a domain.

OK.

I include the virtualised XP mode as part of company domain, and that solve the problem.

Thanks.
