I am using SalesLogix 7.5.3.

I have a plugin that is being used to customize the standard NavBar. It's very simple to remove items from the standard NavBar, but is it possible to re-organize the order in which they appear?  For instance, suppose I want the 'Accounts' button to appear before the 'Contacts' button.  Is there a way to do this without removing 'Accounts' and adding a new, custom 'Accounts' button (and having to replicate the existing button's functionality) to be inserted before the 'Contacts' button?  That seems like a lot of work just to change the ordering of the items.

Thanks!

Yes, simply open the existing toolbar (which you can now edit). Then drag/drop to order you want.

Mike,

Thanks very much for your reply.  While I can see the 'Dashboard', 'Sales', etc. toolbars in the 'Manage Plugins' interface in Architect, I do not see one that seems to control the Standard NavBar.  There is one called 'Standard Toolbar', but this only controls the small toolbar at the top of the screen.  I am looking for the one that (by default) is docked to the left with the larger icons.

Can you point me to the proper plugin to edit?  I cannot seem to find one that allows for this manipulation.

Thanks!

-Chris

Each toolbar is now split (the group to the left in what was known as STD navbar). So, if you open sales toolbar you'll find all the sales group toolbar items. Same for support etc.

Thanks, Mike.  Your reply actually helped me reallize that the toolbar I was having problems with (showed up with a name of 'Standard NavBar') was not really a standard SalesLogix plugin; it was an artifact left over from an older version of SalesLogix we had customized that has since been upgraded.  I un-released some outdated plugins, and this removed the toolbar and relieved the problem.  The new toolbars should be much easier to customize, being that I can actually access the plugins.  Thanks for your help.
