SSIS Cant Insert Contact will not create ContactID Your last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

Using SSIS SLX version 7.5 new install.

I can insert to the Account and Address table VIA SSIS and have SLX create my AccountIDs Address IDs etc.

But When I go to insert a new Contact i get "cant insert null for the contact id" why wont SLX create the IDs for the contactID. Very frustrating.

Seems like the Contact Table is not setup for Auto ID.

This is a somewhat new feature of SLX, and I was actually quite surprise to lear that it is turned On for the Account and Address table.

There are other posts that deal with this functionality, you may want to look in that direction.

Thanks figured it out!

To fix the issue.
Go into the database manager
Open Contacts Table
Click on Properties of the CONTACTID field and Check Auto Increment
