Trying to migrate a classic ASP page that works fine one one server to a load balanced web server that appears to be configured identically yet receives 'Unable to initialize data dictionary' when accessing SLX OLEDB provider.
All systems are 2003 Server, IIS 6.0, apppool is running under domain service account (and are local admins on the machine).

Everything works fine on two different IIS boxes but not on the load balanced one that is the production server. I have installed the full SLX client on both machines and can log on fine on both. Created test UDLs on both and each connect successfully.

SLX Environment 7.5.0 Oracle 10.2 server and clients.

By any chance, is the new box running an X64 OS?
If so, you have to configure IIS to run 32 bit application pools:

E.g.:
cscript %SystemDrive%\inetpub\AdminScripts\adsutil.vbs set w3svc/AppPools/Enable32bitAppOnWin64 1
