Hi,

I have a strange issue, not sure if its by design in SalesLogix 8 or if I have an installation issue.

Server = Windows 2008R2, SQL 2008R2, SalesLogix 8.0

If I create a new connection in SSIS I can select the SalesLogix OLEDB connector, so I am assuming it is installed correctly, however, I am unable to see the SalesLogix OleDB connector in the 32 bit ODBC drivers list, (i know it wont be in the 64bit ODBC Drivers), It is not an option if Icreate a test.UDL either.  Does anyone have any suggestions how I may get the 32bit ODBC to see the SalesLogix OLEDB as an option?

I am trying to get this working becuse I use the SalesLogix OleDB in a connection string to connect an external application to the SalesLogix Database.  This has worked since version 6, however now I get an error because the string does not find the saleslogix oledb driver listed.  I am assuming this is the same reason why I cant see it in the list of 32bit drivers to select from.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Many thanks in advance.

Mark

Hi Mark,

For your test.udl, did you open it as a 32-bit udl?

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\rundll32.exe "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\System\Ole DB\oledb32.dll",OpenDSLFile C:\test.udl
