Hi Everyone.

We'll be moving to a clustered SQL server soon. That means the provider on each local workstation must point to my new application server. Frankly, I'm lazy and don't want to have to touch 150 workstation in order to point the clients to the new location of the database. Is there a way to overwrite a file or registry entry on each workstation, or a script to do this?

Never Mind. I found it in the registry:

HKEY_Current_User\Software\SalesLogix\ADOLogin\ In there is 10 definition that I can tweak called Connection1 through Connection10. A simple registry import on login should do the trick.

Did you find any other issues or any other place in the registry that needs to be checked ?
I remember the case in my last testing workstation, the conncetion string just keep coming back to the old values everytime I restart the computer. Never really sure what caused this.
Reagrds,

Dhany
