Hi,

Im trying to add a control to a form that needs to contain a formatted (currency) number. If I use the currency control type is displays a currency symbol which I dont want, if I use a standard text box I have no control over the formatting. Also the currency control allows you to put in chatracters and it errors (poor....).

Anybody know the best approach for either number formatting a text box? OR removing the currency symbol from the currency control.

Thanks,
Nick

Further to this ive been messing about with Load action c# snippets and also trying to add JScript to each element. I can apply an onchange to the text box to format the number - this works when you change it but when you save, hey presto your formatting has gone. I can also set the format string in C# using the snippet, but the problem I have is that the code you put into the Load Action only runs when the page is !IsPostBack - so when you hit save it doesnt re-run these and set the formatstring leaving you once again with an un-formatted text box. This is rather frustrating! Anybody else had to deal with this yet? It should be a property on the control in app architect but it isnt (unless im missing it); pretty basic stuff I guess you could say that I have wasted a day on!

Thanks!
Nick
