Customizing Phone Control in 7.2

I'd like to alter the Phone control in 7.2 and add code so that i can click the phone number and URL dial. I'm having a hard time finding how to do this. Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to look in the code to customize a control type?

| No one ever answered this post but I wanted to follow up and let everyone know that i found an answer. You can Not edit the existing Phone control. But you can write your own. With help from this forum, i was able to get my click to dial working. |
