I'm making an email template that contains a link that i want to send to my clients. I want to add a querystring variable to the link with the AccountID. The problem is that when i insert the merge field into the email template, the link becomes plain text and not a blue hyperlink. Is there a way i can adjust the merge properties so that my merge field is contained in my url that i email to people? ... and that link is blue and clickable and not just plain text.

help!

Hi Lee, This sounds eerily familiar to a problem I had with inserting Word Form fields in a merge template. It seems to be a function of word that the mail merge engine loses certain field properties and formatting during the merge. I tried solution in the MS KB article below but it seemed to create more problems than it fixed. I gave up at the time but will probably try again at some point.

Good luck!
