Background on Dialog Service

I know SLX uses YUI. I also know that YUI is not unique in handling this in the way it does.. but...
YUI creates a div with a transparent background that "greys-out" the rest of the screen when the Dialog is showing and prevent you from clicking the "greyed-out" controls. Unfortunately it uses 100% of the visible area, so if you scroll, you can get around it.
Since it's dynamic I don't think there is a CSS fix. Is there a JavaScript fix to move the background behind the dialog box when you scroll?
