Picklist: Text must match a list item functionalityYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

Hi all,

I wonder if anyone has come across this issue in 7.2 Web?

In 6.2 LAN you can force the user to only enter values in a picklist control that exist in the picklist. I've got a picklist in 7.2 and I've set it in Picklist Manager to 'Text must match a list item'. In 7.2 Web I've also set the 'Item Must Exist' property against the picklist control. Still though, I can type anything I like in the picklist (the textbox to the left of the ellipsis) and save the form.

I don't really want to have to write something on the save toolbar icon action to validate against the picklist table for every picklist control on the form. Am I missing something here? Anyone else come across this?

Cheers

Daniel

None of those properties seem to work with 7.2 gold. I know they fixed Sorted in SP1, but I haven't tested the others.
