How can the default page of the customer portal be changed?

Actually when a user logs in the customer portal the first page that appears is Ticket List.
I have a customer that wants the Speed Search page to be first page to show up after the user logs in the portal.

Any one knows how to do this?

The default page is a per-user setting set in the user's options. You can force that (or set a default for user's that have never selected some other detault) if needed. Take a look here for more info on how to do this: http://saleslogixblog.com/rfarley/archive/2007/10/02/38250.aspx

I'm afraid that there are no user's options in the Customer Portal.
That is because there is no SmartParts\Options folder into the Customer Portal's Support Files.

You're right - I missed the "of the customer portal" part of the subject

Anyway, the content of the link I posted before should still apply for the most part in getting a default page set in the customer portal as well.

I believe this is a feature request in 7.2...I consider it a bug. You can not change it at this time. There is no option for the Customer to set their default page. The available lists are named Web Portal All Tickets, Web Portal Closed Tickets or Web Portal Open Tickets. The default used the first time someone logs in is Web Portal All Tickets. I have noticed that it seems to remember what the customer last selected from the drop-down...don't know how it is doing that.

In 7.2 how about to set the ticket list to show all the tickets?

Has this ever been fixed? We are currently developing a Customer Portal in 7.5.3 and are having a lot of inconsistancies with the default login page. Sometimes for a user, it will log in and take them to one of the Ticket Lists and other times it will log them in and take them to a blank default.aspx page showing only "Sage Customer Portal" as a title.


is there any way to force it for each user to, say, default to the Web Portal Open Tickets list view?
