problem in opening dialog service window more than once..............

Hi all,
In InsertContact screen I am opening various dialog service windows for Contact address, Account address, look for matching record and select another address. The problem is, if I opened any dialog window more than once, I am getting this error "Sys.InvalidOperationException.Cannot call get_statusCode when response Available is false " and after that the whole application is getting hanged,
I could not find the reason behind this, what could be the issue?

So, the question to be asked is are you trying to show 2 dialog windows of the same type. For example are you trying to show to address dialogs ... If that is so, it really is not possible since there is only one hosted. This is not the same as if you were working with a windows form application where as many instances of the same form could be shown. The Smartparts are loaded via LoadControl and hosted in behind. When the DialogService shows them they become visible. If it is already visible, there is no second instance to show.
Could this be the problem you are experiencing. |

Hi,
I truly accept we can’t open two dialog windows at the same time.
In InsertContact screen I am opening different dialog service windows for Contact address, Account address, look for matching record, select another address, Account Rep and Contact Rep.
At any point of time I will be opening only one window. But If I open one after the other
For eg:First address then account rep and then contact rep, it starts hanging by the time I come to second or third dialog.
If I had opened address dialog and after entering I may update the values by reopening the same dialog. In this case also, it hangs after two three attempts.
I am getting the following error either “msxml3.dll: Unspecified error” or "Sys.InvalidOperationException.Cannot call get_statusCode when response Available is false”.
