SalesLogix Web Opportunity Product grid columns
Posted: 06 Feb 09 2:59 PM
Has anybody had any issues with adding or removing SalesLogix web Opportunity Product grid columns? I removed a few columns and saved | build interfaces | build web platform etc. and the changes don’t show up in the web client. In fact, all the original Opportunity Product grid columns are visible even the ones that were deleted. Am I missing something here or is the Opportunity Products DataGrid form being built and referenced somewhere else at runtime? Any suggestions?

Josh,
This is actually a custom form in the app. The quickform you are seeing is an artifact and should probably not have shipped with the VFS. The actual form is located under Portal Manager -> SLXClient -> SupportFiles -> SmartParts -> Opportunity -> OpportunityProductEX.ascx. You'll have to modify that file and the associated .cs file to remove the columns.

Josh,
Did you find a solution on modifying the grid on OpportunityProductEX.ascx ? I want to add another column to the grid but I am stuck.
Thanks.
