Hi

I am having a requirement where i need to set a value for stages drop down in salesprocess form based on the selected value for status in the opp detail screen.I am able to set the value for the stages drop down list using java script. But the select index change event is not getting fired until i change the value for two times.

Can any body help me how to call the selete index change event of the stages drop down (which is in salesprocess form) while i am changing the status value in the opp detail form

One thing to keep in mind, regarding the event, on the Drop downs, the Auto Post back property defaults to false (and I learned this by spending some time troubleshooting why the event "didn't fire"), so you may need to turn that property on.
