v7.5.1 - Sorting "Schedule Literature Request" GridYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

Hi.

My customer has an extensive literature request list and has asked if we can sort the grid. The grid is defined in LiteratureRequest.ascx, but I can't tell if there is an easy way to enable sorting. The customer asked if I can alphabetize the list, but I think it would be beneficial to control the grid by being able to dynamically sort by the NAME or FAMILY columns.

Anyone have a simple solution that might help? The customer is running out of project hours so I don't want to get into anything too extensive.

Thanks for any help!

Jim M.

LitRequest is a Custom Part so it will require a bit of coding, but should be simple to do so.
You first need to enable the Sorting on the Grid, then provide a Method to Sort the results.

You can look at how it is done on other grids and apply it to this one.
