Coding in Application Architect 7.5
Posted: 24 Aug 09 1:04 AM
Hi All,
I was able to create a new form under accounts and see it on SLX client. However I am not able to figure out where to write the code in Architect and in what sequence. Can someone please post the steps for this. For some reasons we cannot do the web development training.
Thanks
Rathor

There are event handles in the web (like form load, controls onchange) though not nearly as many as the LAN based event handles. You can also place code in business rules or custom properties within the entity model which run during specified periods (like whenever an account is inserted or after updating an opportunity product). Do you have more specifics on what you are trying to do? The app architect is a different animal than the SLX LAN, if that is what you are used to. It realy would be beneficial to go through training or at least purchase devloggix by Stephen Redmond. I think there is a link somewhere on this site.
