Identifying deployment Source of a slxClient siteYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

I have a multi-developer,multi-site client and am looking for a way of back tracking from a https://machine/slxClient website to the source File System VFS Store.

Does anyone know if the website contains any pointers back to:
- the deployment user
- the deployment machine
- the deployment vfs source folder

Any help would be nice.

Although kind of being on the Honer System, you could add a Text file to each Developer's VFS and have on it the Information you are looking for.

So, at the Root level of Support files (so that it goes to the root level of the Site) add a file named (just a suggestion) SystemInfo.txt
On that file add the following structure:
Deployment User:
Deployment Machine:
Deployment VFS Source Folder:

Each deployment user would be tasked with populating this information and ensuring it is correct.

Thats how we managed a Portal Deployment Date on the splash screen. TaskScheduler generated a deployment html file with the date info nightly and once a deployment goes out the file becomes static. They could do everything this way, but, it assumes "planning and well defined practices"

I'm really looking for a way to figue it out after the fact.
