Hi Everyone... please could you assist if possible.... whenever I try to deploy the SLX Web Client to port 3333, on a windows 2008 server, i receive the following error:
------------------------------------------
ERROR - Exception was thrown when setting up target. Message is Unable to cast object of type 'System.Object[]' to type 'System.String'.
ERROR - One or more of the targets failed for portal 'SlxClient' to configure successfully. Please review deployment settings and try to deploy the portal again.
ERROR - Deployment has completed but Errors have occurred. Please review and if required change the configuration and re-deploy.
-----------------------------------------
I've copied the database, to my virtual machine, and the SLX Client was deployed successfuly.... I've noticed on my Virtual Machine, that a folder (Application Data, in the VFS explorer, under configuration folder) exists, but not on the 2008 server.
Your assistance would be highly appreciated, and thanks in advance....
Many Regards, Lucien Noble

I just solved this problem on my windows 2003 64 bit setup with 7.5.1
I had the web site set up on port 80 and 3333
When I set the website to just port 80, the problem went away

regards

Martin..
