Is there anyway to build slx web code through command line? or there is way to build the web site without need to open AA?

Thanks

Yes. There is a command-line tool called ModelUtility.exe which is located in the root of the SalesLogix folder. This command-line utility allows you to build the entire web platform, or do an incremental build. You can also specify whether to build the interfaces, entities, or code snippets, etc, as well as supply a build output folder.

If you run ModelUtility from a command window without specifying any parameters you will get the list of available params, which are:

--build:{BuildAll|Build} BuildAll for clean build or Build for incremental. Default
value:'BuildAll' (short form -b)
--type:{None|Interfaces|WebClasses} Determines which platforms to build. Default value:'Interfaces'
(short form -t)
--model:<string> Specifies the base path for the model metadata. (short form -p)
--output:<string> Specifies the base output path for the build. Default
value:'c:\sage\saleslogix' (short form -o)

When you say "build portals" I assume you are talking about deploying a portal, is this right? I don't believe there is a command-line tool for deploying portals yet (although I would expect it is something we will have at some point).
