Our company bought SLX and so i'm starting completely from scratch here. Any Suggestions for books and such for the basics of SLX Web Developing?

Unfortunately, you won't find much information in the way of books out there.
The only publication I am aware of is DevLogix (recently updated for the Web Client). You can find it here:
http://www.cafepress.com/DevLogixShop
Other than that, you would have to go through the SalesLogix training. You can find that information at
http://www.sagesoftwareuniversity.com
And of course, your other alternative is to contact a SAGE Business Partner and inquire about their Services. There are a few that will do custom training tailored to your needs.
