Delete link causes error when using the getbymethod in the datagridYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

Hi all,

I am using a get by method to filter the grid and when i use the delete link i am getting an error stating that the delete has not been defined in the get by method.

Please help me to slove the issue.

That means that you will have to Implement your own Delete functionality here.
Seems as if you need to add a handler for the Delete command, then get the Object ID from the Row that is being deleted and Delete it via code. Then just refresh.

Hi Raul,

Thanks for the reply.Which column should i use .since i tried using the delete colunm and i got an error and where do we add the delete code.Can u please help out with the code.

where do i need to add the event handler and since it a quickform how do we add the our custom code and make it permanent even when we build and deploy.

I am getting the following error

c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\SlxClient\SmartParts\Account\ActiveOwner.ascx(161): error CS0119: 'Sage.Entity.Interfaces.IAccount.GetActiveOwner()' is a 'method', which is not valid in the given context
