New LEAD record and setting Owner
Posted: 17 Dec 09 1:49 PM
I create a new Lead record as follows:
ILead lead = EntityFactory.Create
();
i have a lookup contorl on my page called ownerLookup
i then tried several ways of setting the Lead.Owner to no avail... currently i am trying this:
IOwner leadOwner = ownerLookup.LookupResultValue as IOwner;
lead.Owner = leadOwner;
no error is given but the lead record is created either.
any ideas?

Can you post the whole code? I can only assume you are calling a .Save() at the end of your code....

yes, I call .SaveLead() at the end of the code block. Which code section you want to see? All I have thus far, is I create the Lead interface class, set a few members (ie, Lead.Title = "asdfa", etc) then I call Lead.SaveLead();
But I have tried several methods of setting Lead.Owner to no avail
