Can anybody help what controls to be used and can it be done in saleslogix as in ms crm.

Does saleslogix have a scheduler control.

Hi There,

We've used the Infragistics Scheduler suite to do this sort of thing. The SalesLogix calendar in fact appears to be based on the Infragistics Calendar control which is part of this suite. The full set of controls allow for resources, checking availability, etc. Their controls use a pre-defined data schema which will likely not meet your needs but fortunately you can do like we did and write a custom Schedule provider to mesh in the support activity info and voila you'll have a service calendar capability. One other thing to watch out for is that you'll have to use the appropriate control versions. Infragistics is now at Vol 2009.x and the ones used by SalesLogix are vol 2007.1. We've been using Infragistics controls in SalesLogix since 6.x web but I believe if you purchase the latest version the will provide the previous versions to you for free.

Regards,

James Sutton
