I delete a filter i created for my entity. rebuilt interfaces (no errors), rebuilt web platform (no errors), started deployment and saw this error...

ERROR - Unable to retrieve deployment items from deployment provider : Sage.Platform.WebPortal.Design.EntityFilterDeploymentAction

any ideas?

Maybe try to clear your build folder and re-build or do a control + build to force a complete re-build.
