7.5.1 Main View page issue

I added a new Page (Main View, tied to a table called MyHistory) and i added a navigation item to call up the new page.
I click my nav button, my page comes up.
but, I have 3 questions:
1. No matter what i select as far as filters (my view is always hidden) eventhough, the message says "Display 1 - 113 of 113"
2. Initially i get, "Args is undefined" when viewing my page (this is because, no groups exists)... Is it possible to create a default group (like 'All Histories')
3. When I click 'Lookup', how do i populate the drop down list for 'lookup by:' ? like contact has 6-7 fields from its table - how do i get some of the MyHistory fields to be used in the lookup for my new page? |

Yes, I created a group called "All' (manually, by pressing the [Groups] button on the MyHistory main view
Even that group says "Display 1 - 125 ro 125" but none of the rows are visible in the view area. |

can you explain how to "Simply clear the "REBUILD_SCHEMA" flag from the datacode field in the database" ?
also, i dont have "Generate SData feed" checked for the entity. Is this needed? I dont check it because when i do, i get an error:
"No display property set" and i dont see anywhere where to set the Display property on a table has been created. |

| I tried toggling the datacode field, had not affect on the outcome. I dont think its a time out issue. After I click my nav button, i see the 'loading' graphic then it goes away in about 1/2 second - says 'Display 1 - 135 of 135' but no records are actually visible |

Ok. I resolved the issue. I created a group; but I forgot to add columns (I thought all columns would be added if none specified)
another question tho... is it possible to create a group from a bundle? or have a pre-fab group (and layout) for my new main view (ie, All Contacts) so the first time the main view is accessed - there is a group there |
