Mail Merge error (Web client) 7.5 SP2

I get the following error when bringing up Mail Merge in the Web client: The result for 1 queries was expected, but no data was returned. There may have been more than 1 HTTP data request active at the same time. The SQL syntax may also be incorrect.
This in a test environment. Server 2003/IIS6. Upgraded from 6.2 (no Web client) to 7.0 to 7.5 (Web client first created at this stage) to 7.5 SP2. HF 1 applied. Upgrade bundles applied to Administrator and AA. Somewhere in the 6.2 to 7.5 process I also installed legacy components. I did extensive testing along the way and everything seemed to work great, but I failed to test Mail Merge until everything was upgraded. I'm not sure if it ever worked.
Any ideas where I can begin testing the problem or how to manually do a reinstall of Mail Merge at the 7.5 SP2 level? This is my first exposure to the slx environment. Everything I know is only from reading the implementation and upgrade manuals and from some web forums.
Thanks, Jim |

Thanks Raul. I did have compression on since it was recommended in the upgrade guide as a performance enhancement. I've turned it off and that fixed the mail merge problem. Thank you much for the suggestion.
I now have a main viewport null error, but apparently that is a known bug in SP2 and everything else seems to be working now.

Jim, you can use compression - however, you must turn it off for mail-merge - see Step 62 on the Upgrading to SP2 document. You can also do this (more simply) by disabling compression for application within IIS.
