Refreshing groups after creating adhoc groups from code.Your last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

I am creating new adhoc groups using some code and then sending the user back to the contact.aspx page. The new groups that I create aren't always appearing in the group list even though they have been created successfully. The user has to log out and then back in to see the newly created group.

Does anyone know how to refresh the users groups?

I have tried setting the currentgroupid using GroupContext class but this doesn't work as it doesn't seem to pick up the new group until a new login session is started.

thanks

Give this a try:

GroupContext.GetGroupContext().CurrentGroupInfo.ClearCache(true);
