checkbox problem
Posted: 05 May 10 5:50 AM
hi all, i have a checkbox on a form. This was bound to a boolean field in the database.
When i checked the box and tried to save i had a truncate error. Im guessing this is because the field size of a boolean field is 1 and the check box is returning true or false intead of t or f.
I then tried creating a new field with a string type and longer length. I bound the checkbox to this field but then when i check it and try to save i get an error that 'StringConverter' is unable to convert 'System.String' to 'System.Boolean'.
Any ideas?

Hi Andrew,
In Application Architect check the Property against your Entity has a Data Type of "TrueFalse".
I've had this problem before when creating new Entities from tables created in the DB Manager where Boolean fields are seen as single character Text fields.
