Add Lookup to mater page
Posted: 12 May 10 9:42 AM
Hi All,
I want to add Look up Functionality to mater page i.e base.master page.
The SpeedSearch search box found in header (Help/Options/Logoff) bar to be removed.
and add a custom “Lookup” box in that location. This lookup will allow a user to easily search for a Client or Client Group.
This search box will, when populated automatically bring the user to the “Lookup Results” tab for the corresponding Entity.
Please advise...Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Vinod

Just edit the base.master file in Visual Studio and load it back into App Architect. You will have full control over it in VS. REMEMBER service packs and hotfixes will make very important updates to the master pages so you will have to rewrite your customisations every time you apply a hotfix/service pack that updates the master pages.
