All my smart parts fail to load after applying Web HF2 and HF3.

ERROR Sage.Platform.WebPortal.WebPortalPage - A smart part associated with this page has failed to load.... error CS0234: The type or namespace name 'IDataSourceControl' does not exist in the namespace 'Sage.Platform.Controls' (are you missing an assembly reference?)

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

-Steve

This sounds like similar problem I had with those HF's. After hours of investigation itr turned out the .exes that come with HF2 and 3 did not install properly so did not overwrite the dlls in C:\Program Files\Saleslogix\Platform.

Check the version number on the dlls in that folder, in particular Sage.Platform.QuickForms.QFControls.dll - this file should be version number: 7.5.2.2213.

If it isnt try re-installing the exe's, and reboot after each one. Then do a full re-build/deploy.

Saying that I got the error you were getting when trying to build, so double check dll version numbers in your bin folder (for your deployed website) too.

Thanks,
Nick

Right on. After reapplying HF2 and HF3, full rebuild, this worked. Thanks!
