Hi All,

I use the following code to hide the Import Leads menu item under Tools depending on the users department:

if (!IsOnTeam("Bid Team", user))
{
ToolbarWorkspace toolbar = _parentWorkItem.Workspaces["ToolBar"] as ToolbarWorkspace;
IMenuService menusvc = toolbar.WorkItem.Services.Get();
NavItemCollection navcol = menusvc.FindMenu("mnuTools") as NavItemCollection;
if (navcol != null)
{
navcol.RemoveItem("tools_ImportLeads");
}

I also want to hide the Import History item but when i open the tools menu aspx page in visual web developer to chck the d/value need to use for this menu iem i cant see the import history menu item in the code. I used logic and tried:

navcol.RemoveItem("tools_ImportHistory");

but this didnt work. Any ideas?

As an alternative tried disabling the tools menu altogether using the following but it doesnt work if anyone can see why?

ToolbarWorkspace toolbar = _parentWorkItem.Workspaces["ToolBar"] as ToolbarWorkspace;
IMenuService menusvc = toolbar.WorkItem.Services.Get();
NavItemCollection navcol = menusvc.FindMenu("mnuTools") as NavItemCollection;
if (navcol != null)
{
//navcol.RemoveItem("tools_ImportLeads");
menusvc.DisableMenu("mnuTools");
}
