Hi All,

I am trying to open a browser seperately when clicking a button in nav bar.

Right now i am calling the iexplorer.exe on clicking the nav button and i am setting the link as home page in ie 7.

Is there something i can call a script to open a browser seperately and so that in the script i can give the link to open in the browser.

Thanks,
Ajoy

You need to use the JavaScript window.open function to do that. You can easily accomplish this by setting the Nav URL to something like this:

javacript: window.open("www.myurl.com");

There are other parameters you can set as well to control size, position, and display options of the new window.
