How does active mail know where the webserver is?Your last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

A colleague of mine is working on a plugin for outlook for SLX 7.5 Web, however, one key ingredient is missing. We want to be able to locate the webserver without having to hard code this in.

Our thinking was that the ActiveMail plugin must hold this information somewhere and have tried searching for some reference to the webserver machine on the local machine that has installed the plugin but have been unsuccessful.

Does anyone know how ActiveMail does this or how we might be able to retrieve it from the ActiveMail plugin to use it for ourselves?

Any help appreciated.

There are several ways to do this:

Client Side: window.location.href and parse it as needed

Or, and this is the best option:

Client Side: ASPCOMPLETEPATH (e.g. http://SERVER:PORT/SlxClient/
