I've spent a few hours on this to no avail, so I'm hoping someone here will be able to help. 

I have a control set up with a Picklist to fill in the Account.Industry column.  Attached is a screenshot of the properties window for the control.

Here's what's happening.  A user can click on the ... icon, select an item from the picklist and the item appears to show up in the control.  (Although checking the DB at this time shows that it has not saved).  Clicking on another tab and clicking back does something funny: instead of showing the picklist item, it shows the picklistid (from the Picklist table) of the item that was selected.  Again, checking the DB shows no entry in that column.  Click another tab and come back again, and the control is blank.

I'm at a total loss.  There is no script modifying or in any way touching this control.  I have other picklist controls that work perfectly that appear to be set up just the same way.

Can anyone help me please?
