I get an error message when i open desktop manager


Could not process sendSlx Message: An item with same key has already been added.


i have checked -


Prompt for Contacts


?option for the destop manager.


?Can you please help?

I would suggest you make sure it is not trying to cretae duplicate IDs.


Use SLX Profiler to monitor on the Server side, and see if it is trying to create a Duplicate ID.


If so, update the SiteKeys table (for the  table where the duplicate keys may be getting cretaed) to avoid duplicate IDs.

You have unprocessed previous sendslx items on this machine that didn't get processed correctly (bad connection for example)....


 



Look in the following location, depending on OS:


 


Windows 7:


C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\SalesLogix\Outlook\TempMailDir


 


WindowsXP:  C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\AppData\ SalesLogix\Outlook\TempMailDir


 


There are 2 folders there, MSG and EML. This is the queue location for emails and attachments that need to be sent. If they fail, they may sit there until the next time, when it tries to send them again. Since the first error message is talking about a duplicate key index, I'm wondering if the history record WAS added, but then failed so it couldn't clear out the message, so it tries it again but it already exists.
